a touch of nephrite

follow the echo
of opening gates
to the rising sun at midnight
where spirits touch
believing souls
with powers of nephrite*

whispers become
the guiding light
of feelings truthful descent
goodness can’t live
within shadows
it gleams with pure intent

  2. I had to search Nephrite only o find it's common name...Jade, In light of your description of it's mystical properties i wonder why a cynic is termed as "jaded"

Once again Shadow we touch thematically in passing the nights and days away. Good concise writing.

  15. But....but!! Wait a gosh darned minute. YOU'RE GOODNESS!! And we live for shadows within the blogging community. Without our shadow [you] we would not have the gleam of your pure intent. Your words!!!

  16. God whispers beyond my ears into the center of my heart.

It always amazes me how personal each individual's response is to a poem. That was mine.

    Thanks, Shadow,

  19. Shadow-I would so like goodness to at least brush the shadow and give it some light. Can it be a shadow without some light? A delicious journey. You finally skipped one of mine, first time ever. Hope I haven't offended. If so-sorry. ~rick

  21. Jade ...teaches us "to be master of one's own creations" = Health & Abundance. It activates the heart chakra.

The affirmation that follows green Jade:
"I love life, and it flows through me in ever-greater abundance".

  26. Beautiful poem about ancient character.
I was thinking that it is interesting what you said about that it can't live in the shadows. Cause there ore other very interesting mythological beings that do not have that thing called shadow. But there can be a being who can't live in the shadows and does not have a shadow without contradiction, surely on the bright and good side of beings.
