55 - waves

just moments before
the full moon bursts forth
from behind storm clouds in the night,
the dark is the deepest
pit of despair,
that crushes you with its might.
then silver waves bathe you
in rays so intense
your spirit with heaven unites,
giving you strength
to from this deluge,
to rise and to alight.

every friday, compose a short story of 55 words - no more, no less. if you want to join in the fun and games and give it a try...post your story and report to the boss G-Man

  1. You reconnect with heaven inside the heart. A glimpse of the moon reminds you soul is part werewolf. To be part of everything is timeless.

  10. It is not the moon that makes the heart alight, but rather the heart that gives the moon its glory and light.
