55 - melody of chaos

Collective they stream
down the road like a swarm,
seeking ruin, with cries in the air.
Harm and destruction
secreting a chill
that swells to a violent cold dare.

……fragile the silence
they leave in their wake
mongst litter that blows in the breeze,
dark’ning the day
with destructive intent,
when hatred to ruin carries.

  2. First off I love the title of this piece. It sets the tone for when you read. You can picture exactly what kind of music fits this piece. Dark but awesome. (:

  5. Pretty powerful 55 for such a beautiful spring day. Today I cherish the fact that I don't live in chaos much anymore. Peace and serenity are usually the order of the day.

  18. You've captured the essence of chaos with amazing descriptions. Reminded me of a crowd rioting, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

  20. Yes ma'am I know that dead silence of noise well. We are creating more of it as we swarm through.

  31. "Fragile silence"--- beautiful combo. I imagined both scenarios: the volcanic eruption in Iceland and on a lesser scale, a swarm of killer bees. I know it's much deeper than that, but you have given me a few visuals.
    Beautifully written as always!

  32. as always, well executed. i found more than chaos, i found notes of spoken words meant to tear apart the music itself.

  33. There's nothing quite so frightening as an angry mob bent on destruction. You captured both the before and after scenes perfectly!

  34. what craft you posess! thanks for sharing this powerful 55...and for leaving me thinking...
