The Rolling Waves

Torn in two, the moon shines down on me
in its eternal impasse between the darkness and the light,

reaching, clamouring, to reach the other side that waxed
oblivion into their hearts, and the waves just kept on rolling...

  3. I sort of love the feeling of being lost between dark and light, letting myself fluctuate between my own phases. Great piece!

  5. How odd a moon that would be. I dont think it possible to just have the bottom of the moon, so it would certainly seem torn. I feel a bit of turbulence in that second part - relational.

  6. Shadow, I cannot delete "this" picture from my mind: Young soldiers on the way across English Channel, to face death in a most awful, seeming useless exercise.
