Wicked spirits
are active in my thinking this day,
advocating reckless
decisions,
stimulating greed
and self-indulgence,
the tempting feast of impulsive behaviour,
with the knife of
discontent firmly twisted in my need.
Temptations and impulses will do that!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I read you, I feel the way only great poets makes me ge. Like you have a straight line to my soul. It's the thing that makes your heart anticipate the rhythm of the words.
