hear the whispers in the wind
hear the promises they bring
sighed by flick’ring candlelight
carried through star-studded night
to your guardian angel’s ear
he who knows the way is clear
to bestow on you the wishes
sung by souls in rhythmic verses
on the canvas of your dreams
hear them now around you stream…
hear the promises they bring
sighed by flick’ring candlelight
carried through star-studded night
to your guardian angel’s ear
he who knows the way is clear
to bestow on you the wishes
sung by souls in rhythmic verses
on the canvas of your dreams
hear them now around you stream…

..Whispers stream...
ReplyDeleteSometimes whispers Scream and echo and seem to vibrate their own throttle. I prefer your "stream" version rather than the the one that stays in my mind: "Snakes slither, whispering secrets and spilling lies".
Beautiful 55!
ReplyDeleteI'm sad I didn't get to do one this week. It's been a LONG week, but now...I'm resting up during the long, wonderful weekend! ♥

Nice poem and photo. Thanks Shadow.
ReplyDeleteYou are a true artist great text, poem, great words where chosen. And I think it is your way of providing us witha glimpse of your own personal thoughts.
ReplyDeleteStunning photo and a playful poem that seems to gain momentum in tone and rhythm: "whispers" in the first line and "hear them now" in the final line...I like the "bring/flick'ring" rhyme!
ReplyDeleteThe imagery and the words just come together so well. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, hopeful...
