Reflections of the day

Invisible thoughts,
fed by concealed visions,
dance through fields
of slowly dying embers,
as fleeting words
find their way home
and settle in your heart,
while others
disappear into an echo.

  2. That's the problem with "fleeting words" - they often find their way to their mark and yet others disappear without a trace. But the ones remembered are usually the ones that leave a mark - and not in a good way.

You are too seldom here - I miss you when you absent yourself from here - and from me.

  7. your words always have this soft sadness about them. When first read, the meanings do not fully sink in, just the images which pushes me to read them over again that was truly fascinating

  8. A nice reflection. I've missed you Shadow!

  9. That photo is amazing!

    ...as is your language.

I think of the mythology character "Echo", the doomed nymph of the forest, who chatted incessantly as young girls do. She was cursed by always having the last word, and only the last word, never being able to speak for herself, or speak first.

  32. Prefer those words I can catch, understand, and allow to rest in the womb of my heart.

But i WILL go after those reflected words also, those echos to wherever they have spun, and bring them to my circle of love.

That's the way i wish to see this! And I thought SURELY i commented here days ago, but, well, Hmmmmm?
    Love ya, V.
