By Your Word

I have looked to see all I need
to let you go and say goodbye,
played with angles from all directions,
given you the benefit of every doubt,
listed in my subconscious for reflection
should you need to call their name,
at which time, by your word, you'll be judged.

  2. Not getting what we want from who we want it from is pure pain. Wanting someone to be who they cannot be feels like death. Letting go of what we imagined would be our future is worse than death. Life is about letting go and knowing there is no one to blame. We do our even though sometimes it is not good enough.
